Brownfields Committee

Meetings:  Bi-Monthly, 2nd Wednesday at 4:00PM, via Zoom and the WRC conference room.

Purpose:  promotes vibrant communities by facilitating brownfields redevelopment in the Region. It is a sub-committee of the Community Development Committee.  The Windham Region Brownfields Reuse Initiative (WRBRI) was established in 2000 with funding from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The Steering Committee is responsible for evaluating sites for acceptance into our program and for overseeing assessment and cleanup planning activities. Steering Committee members are also instrumental in directing sites to our program.
